Our all inclusive professionally guided long wine tour is a six hour tour that begins with a visit to Chocolate’. Taste the mouthwatering confections of this famous maker of European chocolates. Next we will tour four of the finest wineries located along the Texas Wine Trail and enjoy wine tasting at each winery.

We will begin our tour of wineries at Pedernales Cellars. This family owned and operated winery is home of the largest barrel cellar in Texas. The 4000 sq/ft facility is entirely underground where the natural insulation of our Texas Hill Country limestone helps to keep the cellar at an ideal temperature year round. This simple and traditional design is augmented by a state of the art geothermal cooling system which circulates water deep underground to further cool the building in the summer. The first plantings at the Kuhlken vineyards began in 1994. The estate vineyards are planted with several varieties that include Temperanillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Garnacha, Touriga Nacionale and Mourvedre.

Our next stop will be Becker Vineyards. This award winning winery was established in 1992 by Richard and Bunny Becker. The 46 acres of French vinifera vines generate 8 different available varietals including Syrah, Petite Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The 10,040 sq/ft winery is located in a 19th century German stone barn reproduction and surrounded by grazing horses, peach orchards and fields of native wildflowers and lavender. Becker Vineyards is a wonderful setting for lunch on our long wine tour.

Our tour continues with a visit to Torre di Pietra Winery. Owned and operated by the Maxwell family who has been making for over 100 years in Texas. The vineyards are located in Fredericksburg and Doss, the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

Finally, our tour takes us to Grape Creek Vineyards. Taste the award winning wines as you enjoy live music and a magnificent view. The vineyards at Grape Creek produce Montepulciano, Aglianico, Petite Verdot and Chenin Blanc.
